Product Description

Ahead of its time, the Engineer Hydrocarbon AeroGMT II is an embodiment of a modern classic. Exceptionally crafted for commercial pilots, this timepiece offers unmatched visibility in darkness and allows tracking of three time zones, earning its reputation as a trusted tool in navigating through the darkest nights.

Unification of Three Time Zones

Featuring a bi-directional rotating bezel illuminated by micro gas tubes, the AeroGMT II enables pilots to keep track of time in three different zones. The 24-hour graduation on the sapphire bezel signifies a third time-zone in addition to the standard and GMT time readings. The GMT hand is used for tracking home city time, and the 24-hour bezel for the destination citys time, while the standard hour and minute hands track the aircrafts local time.

Superior Visibility and Orientation

The aviator-inspired dial is adorned with revolutionary micro gas tubes at each hour index and on the main hands, ensuring easy readability even in the dark. The 3, 6 and 9 oclock markings feature double gas tube markings, whereas the 12 oclock position boasts a pair of ultra-distinctive gas tubes for quick orientation in darkness.

Durability and Precision

  • The AeroGMT II is powered by the BALL RR1201-C self-winding mechanical movement, offering COSC certified precision.
  • The watch is designed to withstand a little turbulence with a shock resistance of up to 7,500Gs and anti-magnetic protection up to 4,800 A/m.
  • The patented crown protection system on the 42mm machined stainless steel case ensures the crown is properly and securely sealed.

Comfort and Style

The AeroGMT II offers a choice between a metal bracelet with BALLs patented triple folding buckle that can withstand 1,400 newtons of force, and a rubber strap with a standard buckle. Both options are designed to comfortably fit with aviation apparel while complementing the bold bezel, thereby enhancing the pilot’s usability in form and function.
